Gotta tell a little side story about this place - see the only white guy in the picture? His name is Simon - a cool English guy we met at the hotel. He went out with us that night to go drink, and you see all those other Japanese guys around us? We met them there too and they were stealing food for us from the counter (they had all sorts of snacks there that you're supposed to pay for, but they were just straight up jackin' em). Now here's the freaky part . . . those Japanese guys asked us, "Have you sexed Japanese girl yet?" Obviously we all said no. Then they told us, "We go find Japanese girl and rape. Best sex with Jap girl is rape!" We were freaked out like hell - this was so fuckin' wierd. The thing about Japan (and other East Asian countries for that matter) is that it is a totally male dominated society. I mean see the guy in front making the peace sign? He was trying to pick up on some chik, brought her to our table, and was literally pulling and trying to look down her shirt. He was trying to grab her too. All she did was brush his hand away as she continued to talk with Simon. Oh one more thing, see those girls in the background? They're Korean chicks also vacationing in Japan.

Alrighty, these are 2 pics one of Joel (first) and me (second) with the freaks of Harajuku. Heard of Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Girls? Well those girls are tame (in terms of fashion) compared to the freaks you see in Harajuku. The cool thing is, Joel and I weren't the only baka gaijins taking pictures w/ these fashion aficionados. In fact, we were really not taking as many pics as other tourists were (maybe because Joel was PMSing at the time - LOL). Honestly though, it's pretty cool that they do cosplay every Sundays and strut their stuff in Harajuku. Especially since they don't know what it means to be an individual, you could actually say they're adventurous to dress that way in such a conformist society.

Or they may be crazy because it was as hot as the devil's taint.
